Interlakes International School, Ethiopia
The Interlakes International School teaches around 450 children from the Bishoftu village area. This primary school offers education to local children to help them get started in society, but also provide them with knowledge so they have a good chance of finding work and contributing to the further development of Ethiopia. However, running a school it is not only about teaching. There are many tasks involved that make teaching possible, including financial and general management.
Quadraat Global provided support to the financial manager by thinking along in setting up a budget, cash flow, financial reporting and other aspects. This progress is crucial to the general manager and the board in the Netherlands to steer the organization in the right direction. The change we made is incredible. Now, Interlakes International School is able to provide a solid financial process and can report the financial key performance indicators on a professional level.
Currently, our colleague Hans is acting as interim general manager of the school. In this position, he is working together with the local team to ensure solid management of the school. He actively contributes to the school’s vision, oversees current processes, and addresses any emerging challenges.
