The Denhofe foundation wishes to build a primary hospital in Ethiopia with a special focus on mother and child care. The child mortality is high in Ethiopia and women are facing a lot of problems during pregnancy or labour. The Denbi Medical Health Center will be realized in the outskirts of Debre Zeit, a city 40km South East to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Both the local community as well as patients from a much wide area will be treated with high quality care.
By providing high-quality care, this hospital will be used by both the underprivileged as well as the wealthier Ethiopians. The income generated from the latter group will partially be used to cover the costs for those who cannot afford expensive treatment.
Quadraat Global has developed a master plan and a business plan for this hospital through extensive consultation with the board and (local) experts. For the master plan, Quadraat Global teamed up with Engineering Ministries International who provided invaluable inputs. Now these plans guide the next step in the process of making this hospital reality. For more information visit the website of the Denhofe foundation.
